Former Midland Company President and CEO John W. Hayden Continues to Serve the Cincinnati, Ohio, Area Through His Board Membership at Hauser Private Equity

In the Cincinnati, Ohio, and northern Kentucky area, the Cincinnati Museum Center and Junior Achievement of OKI Partners, Inc. have been honoring outstanding local business people since 1991, by inducting them into the Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame.

A recent article on the NewsAnyway website tells of how Cincinnati business leader John W. Hayden has been named a 2021 member of the Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame. Recipients of this honor are chosen for the impact their efforts have made in the Cincinnati area.


Well-known as the President and CEO of the Midland Company, Mr. Hayden is now retired from the company, after more than a quarter-century of service. As the leader of the Midland Company, Hayden guided it through a period of substantially increased capitalization and also held the leadership position at its American Modern Insurance Group division.


These days, John W. Hayden remains active as a member of the board of directors at Hauser Private Equity and several other companies.


Headquartered in Cincinnati, Hauser Private Equity was founded in 2008 and is a leading private equity fund manager. The company regularly co-invests with funds that have great investment strategies and operating leadership capabilities, which increase their value.


While Hauser Private Equity is interested in co-investors that have utilized successful exits, the firm is not interested in real estate, new technology or venture capital investments.


The induction ceremony honoring John W. Hayden’s service to the Cincinnati community through his work with the Midland Company and Hauser Private Equity has been rescheduled from October 7, 2021 to March 22, 2022.
