James Brearley Reflects on Inchcape UK’s Post-Covid Profit Rebound

James Brearley, the CEO of Inchcape UK, is stepping down after leading the automotive retailer through a post-Covid profit rebound. Brearley will be moving on to take on a new challenge in the industry, leaving Inchcape with a solid foundation to continue its growth. During his time at the company, Brearley oversaw major changes such as selling Inchcape’s Chinese business and acquiring Pendragon’s retail operations.

Under Brearley’s leadership, Inchcape UK has seen a significant rebound in profits post-Covid. This is thanks in part to the company’s focus on efficiency and cost-cutting measures and its strong relationships with key suppliers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar Land Rover. Inchcape is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory in the coming years, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for the company.
