Andrew Lazarus spoke to The Newcastle Herald that he had the determination to own the pub.

He said his family had considered buying the beach pub for a significant period. This family has operated and owned hospitality venues for over 30 years.

They manage Eastern Hotels Group, which manages a portfolio of assets that include the Granville, The Vauxhall Inn, Hamilton, The Exchange Hotel, Shoal Bay Country, Club, and The Eastern in Bondi Junction, among others.

Peter Lazarus is the director of the Eastern Hotels Group.

He has played a significant role in the renovation of the Shoal Bay Country Club at $6.5 million.

Peter is set to take over as the manager of the newly acquired Beach Hotel.

This Beach pub is promoted by Deane Moore of Moore & Moore Real Estate and Mike Wheatley of Knight Frank. Merewether is often described as the treasure of Newcastle.

The beach hotel sits on the most beloved beach and has been popular since its launch.

Its 1858 square km Art Deco style has beautiful verandas and a surf beach.

It lies a few miles from the Newcastle CBD.

The Lazarus family wants to renovate this establishment within the coming days.

They, however, would like the opinion of Newcastle’s natives and architects before beginning the procedure.

The hotel’s long-term owner, Mr. Twohill, acknowledges he was not sure about selling the establishment after running it for an extended period.
