Gretchen is the first woman to become a major American corporation’s general counsel (GC). She was also one of the very few female CEOs in corporate law when she became GC at Lehman Brothers, and she’s now focused on increasing diversity among top corporate lawyers by mentoring young professionals. She was General Counsel at Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation.
